Woah Nelly!

I'm pregnant.
No, I not just now realizing it.
I'm just feeling it....Big time!

Although, I've been "looking like" the part for some time now.

I am starting to really feel the part, big time.

I am now in my 12th week. (Gosh, this is taking forever!)
I guess that's what I get for finding out so soon, right?
ugh!

I never really got "bad" morning sickness during the first 11 weeks.
I mean, I felt nauseous but never really GOT SICK.

That is no longer the case. Like I said below, I welcomed week number 12 with a bang.
Yuck!
(I now know that it was not just the Jimmy Dean sausage, egg and cheese biscuit.)

The morning sickness hits right after I wake up.

I've even tried laying in bed for a few minutes *advice from an article I read.
It said not to JUMP out of bed. Give your self some time to adjust. You may not get as sick.

Eh, Doesn't work for me....

I've actually been eating healthier.
Grapes, Apples, Carrots....not as much junk as I normally eat.
More fiber? Yep, I got it.

Still, I get sick.

The heartburn is here but I know that I am to blame for that one.
I tend to like the things that cause me the most pain.
(Orange Juice, tomato sauces, lemonade)
I just can't stay away and now I pay.

It's got to get better, right?

Today's Tip: Do you have a hard time taking your prenatal vitamins? Do they make you feel a little queasy?
Take them at night right before bedtime.
This should help with the icky feeling.

  1. Congrats on the pregnancy and I am sorry your getting so sick. That has to be the worst part about pregnancy.

I very rarely got ill with my daughter, but the heartburn?
Oh my gosh... I had heartburn from WATER.

I had no idea you were preggos, but now I'm super excited to come along with you. I'll live vicariously. :)

Congrats on the pregnancy. I had severe morning sickness with both kids. It sucked. I got through with bananas, plain noodles, and ginger root tea. Hope the sickness passes soon.

UGGGH! So sorry. I always look at MS as being a positive thing..you kinda know everything is ok but I have never been that sick. I too want the things that cause all the heartburn and that stinks but I hope you start feeling better soon and again Congrats! I am right ahead of ya at 17 weeks! Good luck!
