And Yes, I licked my brownie covered fingers when I was done!
Shhh!! Don't tell the kids.
I have been seeing Brownie Covered Oreos on several blogs and decided it was about time that I made my own.
I first saw them mentioned on the
blog Good Gravy Designs but she says in the blog post that
SHE got the idea from a friend.
I then saw them on another blog where they gave credit for creation to
Picky Palate.
I'm not real sure who the original creator is but BOY OH BOY are they YUMMERS!
(If you are feeling a little lazy and don't want to clicky click those linky links then you can see how I made mine below.)
You will need:
Brownie Mix (You MUST get Betty Crocker fudge brownies in the RED box. If you don't get the RED box then they will not turn out.)
...Totally kidding, of course! Any Brownie mix will do.
Oreo Cookies
Step 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2. Whip up the brownie mix as directed on box/package.
Step 3. Spray a muffin tin
(regular size muffin tin) with Non Stick Spray
(Generous amount of spray since these lil suckers like to stick.)
Step 4. Dip each Oreo into the brownie mix and make sure you coat both sides really good.
YES, you will get your hands dirty but you can always lick them clean when you are done!
Step 5. Bake for 15 minutes and then allow to cool.
Once they have cooled, remove from tins but be careful as they may stick a little. I used a butter knife and small spoon to maneuver then free.
Yummers!!!
OMG! those look sooooo good!
