Making your own maternity clothes

I'm in the "in between" stage.
(No comments, please)
Regardless of how big my belly looks in those pics, I am still not big enough for most maternity clothes.

I've actually been wearing my size 9 jeans.
TAKE THAT!
Ok, just don't look under my shirt because they will be unbuttoned. (smile)

I want to be comfortable.
I want to be cute.
I don't want to walk around in a Muu-Muu.
Ok, I don't want to walk around in a Muu-Muu all the time.

I found these tutorials online.
Tutorials for making your own maternity jeans and stuff!
I am thinking about trying one or two.

*Say a prayer for me, mmmkay?
(I'm no pro when it comes to that machine with the needle.)

I saw a tutorial long ago about making your own maternity pants and skirts that looked like even less sewing! You do the same U cut in the front, then they sell U-shaped panels at Joanns that you just stitch right in. You get the stretch in the front in the belly, but the rear is left intact. Wish I had found that when I was pregnant...
